Dr. Fazlollah Hooshdaran is specialized in GI Tract, Breasts and Cancer surgery. During his 34 years of practice, he has conducted surgery on numerous cancer patients and is highly experienced in this area.
In separate occasions he removed a 79Kg mass from abdomen and 2 Kg hair from stomach of two patients successfully for the first time in Iran.
Following his graduation from Medical School of Pahlavi University, he completed his specialization at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (SUMS) in G.Surgery, and completed his internship and residency at this university. Dr. Hoohdaran was a Consultant General Surgeon and lecturer on SUMS orthopedic ward (1986-1997) and dean of medical branch at Azad University of Kazerun (1989-1998).
He is a member of American college of Surgeons,the Iranian General Surgeons Association, Fars General Surgeons Association and a regular attendee at annual clinical conferences of American College of Surgeons.
He has published a surgery book for nurses.
