Dr. Mohammad Ebrahim Parsanezhad is a professor of gyniclogy at the department of Obestricin and Gynichology at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. He has been the chairman of this department since 2003, and been teaching at this department since 1987. He has published over 45 research papers and attended more than 33 conferences during his career.
He has also been the director of infertility and Endoscopy Division at SUMs since 1988.

After his graduation as a medical doctor from Tabriz University (Medical school), he became qualified by Speciality Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUMs (1986) as a specialist, and then received an infertility fellowship from Gotingen University, Diako Medical Centre, Germany,

Dr. Parsanezhad is the reviewer of Fertility & Sterility Journal, a member of editorial board for Iranian Journal of Medical Sciences (IJMS) and Middle East Fertility Journal (Egypt). He is also a member of research comitee at SUMs and National OB & GYN Board Examinaton, and a member of American Society for Reproductive Medicine,

He is highly experienced in Infertility, Gynecologic Endocrinology, and Advanced Gynecologic Endoscopy procedures.
He has won several awards and Scholarships incluing:
• Seventh Annual Meeing of the Middle East Fertility Society, Beirut, Lebanon 2000.
• The First Royan International Infertility Research Award, first winner Iran, 2000.
• The 4th Royan International Infertility Research Award, first winner Iran, 2003.
• Twelfth Razi award, first award winner, ministry of health, Iran, 2007.
• Eighth Royan International Infertility Research Award, first winner, Iran, 2007.
